Wedding Invitation Wording

There are many ways of wording your wedding invitation. The wording will depend upon many factors such as who is hosting your wedding and what type of wedding you are having. Traditionally the bride and grooms parents host the wedding, hence the invitation wording starts with the bride and grooms parents names followed by the bride and grooms names. A traditional wedding consists of two parts. The wedding ceremony, which is traditionally held in a place of worship followed by a reception celebration. Alternatively in modern times, wedding can be hosted by the bride and groom and can be held in gardens, beaches and overseas locations. Organising to be married overseas or at a special location is known as a destination wedding. Depending on which wedding you are having, your invitation wording will vary. There is no set invitation wording, it can be whatever you wish, after all it is your wedding! Guest names can also be included as part of the invitation wording. By including this in your invitation wording, it allows you to specify exactly who you wish to invite.
When look for wedding invitations, make sure you check with the supplier whether or not the printing of the guest names is included in the price of the invitation or whether you personally have to hand write them yourself. Also another thing to look out for when ordering your wedding invitations is to ask the wedding stationery supplier whether or not you are allowed your own choice of invitation wording. This means whether you can supply them with your own wording or whether you have to use one of their set invitation wordings. You will also need to confirm that supplying your own wedding invitation wording doesn't incur any extra fees or costs. If your wedding invitations need to be printed in two languages hence a bilingual wedding invitation, make sure that your wedding invitation supplier can also cater for this and whether any additional charges apply. Your wedding supplier may give you a choice of font type for your wedding invitations to be printed in. Tradionally, wedding invitations are printed in a script font for the bride and grooms name and a simple font for the wording, so that all the wedding information and details such as locations, addresses and dates can be easily read.
